About Geylang

Geylang or Geylang Serai is the cultural centre of the Singaporean Malays and this colorful neighborhood is located on the eastern section of Singapore's Central Area. Several exclusive Malay districts were created by the mid 1930s such as the Kampong Melayu which later became part of today's Geylang Serai.
